Gravenger Hunt 2.1 Race Winners!

Here's a list of winners for the first ever Gravenger Hunt race! Thanks to Vesa of webscorer.com for the tech assistance with the timing app. I'm hoping some planned new features will be ready in time for some improvements in the GH experience. Complete results can be found here on Webscorer. You can see how you did compared to everyone else. Maybe you beat a faster rider because you were handier with your phone or better at navigation?

Team Men was won by Christopher Hirata and Doug Oda fTeam Rising Sun! They posted one of the highest early times of all the riders, and the time held up through a few challenges. Maybe I could have been a little closer if I didn't have to walk on Heart of Stone.
Team Women was won by
Nicole McVarish
and
Dawn Heather
of You Got Chicked ;), another set of early riders.
Team Mixed was won by
Piper Peterson
and
Joe Eisenbeis
of Riders on the Storm, and they stormed their way to a win with another team fairly close behind them on time.
Solo Women was won by
Jo Lister
, who conquered the hills with a flat-bar MTB.
Solo Men was won by
Alec Osenbach
, who posted some unreal times on all 8 of the Timed Sectors. One sector had some discrepancies in his position recording, but the Race Jury gave a really thorough review, and they concluded that the times were all legit.
Special Shoutouts to
Karen Metcalfe
, who is the only rider to compete in 2 different categories, and
Ian Tubbs
and
Daniel Perry
, two local gravel legends, just for making time to try out the course, and putting in a solid effort on the race sectors to come in 2nd and 3rd.
Team categories pay out at $60, and the Solo categories at $50. I'd like to be able to pay out more and deeper, but that's really hard to do at only $10 per entry. If you don't want to be paid via PayPal, let me know right away, otherwise, check your inbox by Friday.
Congrats to the category winners, and thanks to everyone who tried out the course! Especially those who didn't care for the race parts, and just wanted to ride. I had so much fun putting it on, solving problems, and MEETING NEW BIKE PEOPLE! Look for and additional blog post with a link to the detailed results. I'm going to phase shift the results from each Timed Sector so you can make sense of what everyone's time was on that sector. Essentially a Rosetta Stone for the results. :) It might be here, or it might be in a Google Sheets file.
